This was the first visit to Sycamore for some of our children and parents. As always it was well organised with lots of suitable activities. The staff were as helpful as ever, and the visit to Santa's grotto was great fun. Thanks to all of you there who continue to do such a wonderful job and make our children and their families (and us) feel so welcome.   What a super day! Although it rained all day it made no difference to the enjoyment the children experienced. They loved exploring the different activities and having the freedom to work independently. Santa was a real highlight and we will definitely be back.   Thank you once again for a fantastic day! The whole school had a great experience to join in with activities. The children were overwhelmed with a special visit from Santa!!! Wishing you all a Merry Christmas from Everyone at Woodsetton School :)  Thanks to Will and Ash for looking after Class 1:)) We hope to see you soon. Regards Paul and Class 1 Team  Great for our pupils to have some time to venture anywhere they like independently without needing support. Had a brilliant morning.

Sainsbury’s Helping Out Friends of Sycamore Adventure:

Sainsbury’s PR team visited the adventure playground in January 2014 to see how they may be able to help out! The team have agreed to meet with Friends of Sycamore Adventure to discuss future possible partnership working and joint fundraising activity. This sheet will be used to list ways in which the organisation have supported children’s play at this unique setting:

1. On our first meeting (January 2014) Amblecote Sainsbury's donated a box full of foam rednoses, perfect for arts and crafts, fancy dress and games on site! These will provide hundreds of children with hours of fun on site!

2.  In January 2014, Merry Hill Sainsbury's donated their entire Christmas decorations to us. This included huge foam Christmas trees, snowmen, robins etc. These will transform the centre next Christmas.

3. At the end of January 2014, Amblecote Sainsbury's donated a selection of toys for children to play with, further boxes of red noses for craft activites and a reem of Halloween decorations which can be used to decorate the centre this year!
