At Sycamore Adventure we aim to provide children and young people with rich and varied play opportunities. The environment, materials and equipment available have been designed and specifically selected to offer the broadest possible play menu and to encourage self-directed play at the adventure playground. Self-directed play means that children and young people are free to follow their own interests, for their own reasons, in their own time, without the intervention of adults.
Where neccessary, the staff team can also offer a range of structured adventurous activities to enhance your visit. The following list of activities are available when you book private use of Sycamore Adventure. We advise no more than one structured activity alongside free play per half day booking:
Come and Play
CLOSED 20th DECEMBER -31st JANUARY 2021
1. We are closed on bank holidays and bank holiday weekends. The service closes as follows:
a) 2nd - 6th August 2021 (we are in parks delivering Dudley Play Week that week).
b) 30th August – 6th September 2021
c) 20th December - 31st January 2022
2. A café provides a hot & cold menu on site. It is not permitted to bring your own food and drink into the centre.
3. Please help us by providing supervision of your children at all times.
4. Please help us to keep children safe by using the car parks provided between houses 18-19, 31-32 and opposite house 40 on Sycamore Green.

Explore and play both inside and outside at our amazing adventure playground. With exclusive use of our truly unique and exciting play environment, a wide selection of toys, loose parts, and much more! Sycamore Adventure is the perfect place to enable children to direct their own play without the intervention of adults. Our key focus is freely chosen play and this is a crucial part of all visits to Sycamore Adventure!
Make use of our fleet of inclusive go-karts, including dual seated go-karts, wheelchair accessible bikes, scooters and trikes. Go karting will provide a fun packed physical play session for all children!
Break up your day with a campfire. Our trained team will build and light a campfire and cook popcorn or marshmallows for your group, providing a great social opportunity and chance to get feedback from your children.
Through a range of fun games & team work activities, our trained staff will support your children and young people to improve group dynamics, enhance team coopperation, build trust and build self esteem.
Let our staff team know what themes or ideas you may have for your visit and we will help you to bring them to life in a fun and creative way, using crafts and a range of related activities!
As individuals or in small groups, scour the site to solve a series of clues to solve the Sycamore puzzle.
Try your hand at fencing, archery, crazy golf, zorbs and indoor Kurling. Please note some activities are weather dependent and there are limits on the number of children who can be involved in each activity at a time.
